About Zimmer Childrens Museum [-]
The Zimmer Children's Museum's mission is to make a better society through interactive learning, creative self -expression and art experiences for children and families.We are dedicated to teaching people about the BIG IDEAS of global citizenship, community responsibility, and cultural sensitivity. The Zimmer Children’s Museum is a non-profit cultural institution located on Museum Row in Los Angeles, and features hands-on exhibits for children (0-8) to explore BIG IDEAS in creative and inspiring settings. The Zimmer is also the only museum dedicated specifically to kids and families in Los Angeles. An interactive space for learning, play, imagination, and exploration, our exhibits, some of which have Jewish themes, offer hours of fun and discovery. Through the power of play, children will learn about human values such as respect for others, helping those in need, generosity, and creativity. We also offer children’s classes, family programs, and field trips to deepen the experience.

Imagine & Invent : July 13 – July 17, 9am – 3pm, ages 5 years - 8 years : (campers must be potty proficient by camp start date!) It's time to imagine and invent! Experiment with elements of construction, robotics, art and design to engineer quirky gadgets that light up, polarize and more!

Sun, June 28 – Celebrate Superman's Birthday! (2pm – 4pm) : Boom! Wham! Kapow! Today we kick off our week long celebration of Superman’s Birthday (June 30)! Decorate your own hero mask, create your own comic strip, test your superhero strength, and meet the man of steel himself – Superman will be making an appearance before he takes off to save the world!
$1 off admission if dressed in superhero costume from Sun, June 28 – Thur, July 2!
Sunday, July 5 – Open Art – Frida Khalo (2pm – 4pm) : Feliz Cumpleaños Frida! Join us as we celebrate the life and art of Frida Khalo whose birthday is on July 6! Pop into our art studio to paint your own self-portraits!
Sunday, July 12 –Second Sunday Concert: Miss Melodee (3pm) : Join us for a magical & musical experience with Miss Melodee! As a singer, songwriter, dancer and teacher, Miss Melodee brings over 15 years of professional experience working with young children and families. Sunday, July 19 – Ice, ice CREAM! (2pm – 4pm) :
Today is National Ice Cream Day! Celebrate with us as we experiment with ice cold water color painting and more ice cream themed art and craft activities!
Sunday, July 26 – Free to Be Me Drum Circle (3pm) : Bummm ba dum dum ba dum dum. Grab a drum and feel the beat move you! Refund / Cancellation Policy [-]
The Zimmer will issue a refund for cancellations made at least two weeks prior to the first day of camp with a mandatory $75.00 cancellation fee per transaction. Please note: within two weeks of the first day of camp, there will be no refunds. The Zimmer Children’s Museum reserves the right to cancel any camp session if enrollment minimum is not met. Transfers from one session to another will be based on availability and must be made at least two weeks prior to the scheduled camp date.
